To maintain our standards, all products continue to be made at our home site in Kronach, Upper Franconia. The raw materials for our handmade floors are produced in accordance with the applicable EU directives. Our Swiss agent will be glad to advise you in detail — in person if you wish — on any question concerning the production of your leather floor or leather wall.
Careful use of natural resources and responsible conduct toward the people involved and the places they live shape how we run this business, now and in future. Our aim is to make products from natural, high-grade leather and nothing else.
Good design needs good workmanship and good material. We therefore work only with established suppliers and use only honest materials that convince us in every respect. What we aim for is the best value for money. Every leather floor and every leather wall covering is made by hand — what you pay for here is quality.

How do I order samples?
Through the contact form on this website: enter the sample you would like and send the form.
Why are samples charged for?
We are not in the business of sending out samples. Preparing and shipping them takes real effort, and that effort has to pay for itself if we are to keep our prices where they are. However, the cost of samples ordered or returned is credited to you when you place an order.

| Architects and dealers | Subject to specific authorization by LEDERBODEN-MANUFAKTUR.CH, the method of payment can be adjusted. At least 75% of the invoiced amount is nevertheless due when the order is placed (90% outside Germany). The balance falls due on delivery or completion. |
| Set-off and right of retention | You are entitled to set off only where your counterclaims have been established by a final court judgment or acknowledged by us in writing. A right of retention may be exercised only where the claims arise from the same contractual relationship. |
Technical Questions About Installation
Can leather be installed in wet rooms?
To a limited extent, yes. Please contact us for the specific conditions and advice on this, as suitability depends on the room and on how it is used.
Can leather be installed over underfloor heating?
Yes. The thermal resistance of our leather tiles is below the limit for suitability with underfloor heating, so they can be used in rooms with underfloor heating without difficulty. Please observe the maximum surface temperature given in our care instructions.
